By Any Other Name...

"Aircraft Mechanics" is a broad term and includes A&P mechanics, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, certified repairmen, military trained maintainers, structures and sheet metal mechanics, avionics and other specialties. Though we are called many things, those polled overwhelmingly prefer "Aircraft Mechanics" because it conveys the prowess, power and occasional grittiness needed to do our job.

Our skill and dedication is the accepted guarantee of safety for pilots, crew and passengers. We bear the burden of trust and accountability for our work and the safety of those who depend on us.

Aircraft Mechanics are the cornerstone of safe aviation.
